black screen fans go full speed.
Only occured on OW2 and CS2 as ive seen. Played more demanding games like gta 5, cod etc without problems. Screen goes black and fans go full speed and has to hard restart pc. Ive tried changing PSU but did not help. Tried to take out GPU, cables etc and back in, did not work. DDU, did not work. Updated BIOS, did not work.

- AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
- ASUS GeForce RTX 3070 ROG Strix OC
- Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3200MHz 16GB
- BeQuiet Pure power 750W

If anyone has a fix for this i would appreciate it<3

Sounds like a driver crash
Could be an unstable OC, or RAM or PSU issues.
If its Power related, you could also try changing wall outlets, could be load related.

If DDU did not work, assuming you used it correctly, then it would lead me to think its hardware related.

Have you tried an older yet stable NVIDIA Driver?
When using DDU do you also remove PhysX and the Driver Folder? listed in the Options
Also assume you use it in Safe Mode?

When reinstalling the Driver do you ONLY Install the DRIVER and do a Custom install so that nothing but what you need is installed? Only PhysX for example, not also installing the NVIDIA App crap etc

or its due to unstable oc

try resetting bios to defaults and see if it still crashes

what mobo, brand/model?
did you install the mobo drivers?
chipset, audio, lan, bt/wifi and others

Could be the cable if when your pc daw high power then crashed, but this case is yours only crashed when low usage , meaning it's something on your 12v slot pcie not the cable itself,

Been there for 2 years and done that
how do i check if its something on the slot? all the pins seems to be fine

You cant, need specialist
But ok lets througly troubleshooting first , lets try turn off xmp or xmp on but lower speed 3100mhz , because it happened on cpu bound game
okay ill try that
sat it to 3066 and turned off xmp, will try tonight after work and see if it helps. Unfortunetly its very random when it happens so hard to declare a fix://
One time, I had a person using a PCIe riser cable mod that caused this issue and another time, someone else was using a third-party PCIe power cable for their GPU.

pick win 10-11
chipset, vga, audio, lan (ide/sata are only needed when installing windows with raided drives)
