Mac is trash and Apple only exists to make it's over priced fisher price smart phones.
Linux is literally only for criminal scum.
I don't want to guess how much Windows 11 is using, but surely coping Apple who are selling 8GB laptops while their OS in idle takes 6GB.
Why is that?
Because the more RAM used = less RAM wasted,
so it makes it greener.
The more you green, the more you save. That's right. The more you green, the more you save.
And Copilot took months to make.
You can't even ask for a ransom on the stolen files if the system corrupts or deletes them first...
I've honestly never heard anyone say anything like this --- that is, not even an intimation of any such thing.
Am I to understand that you believe that the primary reason that people use Linux is in order to evade authorities?
Saying Linux is for the criminals kinda sounds like someone inside microsoft made a brain worm copy pasta.
- on windows 120 hertz to get 12 bit i need to enable ycb with 60 hertz it can be 12 bit rgb meanwhile linux 120 hertz 16 bit rgb
- on windows i get to use 2 speakers from the tv meanwhile on linux it recognizes the full 6.1 sound solution in the tv significantly sounding better then windows
- on windows picture mode is locked on linux picture mode is unlocked this means i can watch imax on my pc
- hdr signal on windows looks more grayish meanwhile linux is likely giving the same signal xbox and playstation is giving which makes hdr look way better out the box
- on windows i require to purchase dts unbound and dolby atmos meanwhile on linux the tv picks up the signal if dts or dolby atmos content is being played this is also a known issue with windows not being able to read the certificates of the tv meanwhile xbox and playstation read them just fine
then the printer on windows drivers no longer work making the printer useless meanwhile on linux it recognizes the printer straight away and it is fully functional printer support on linux with cups is just chef kiss
but yeah it is a crime to have things working better on anything besides windows
we should also throw away our phones all tv's need to be thrown away aswel as the reality is linux and its parent unix is everywhere android is a modified linux kernel most modems/routers are using linux majority of servers around the globe use linux so have fun being that guy that hates samsung meanwhile his philips tv has samsung chips inside...
by the way something ironic windows runs better under qemu+vfio likely because of the scheduler difference if i compare windows 11 with swapping the ssd to the virtualized windows with vfio i get either same fps or in some cases more fps which doesn't make sense because i cannot just allocate all the cores into the vm
Microsoft is the absolute king of AI computing on software side, and NVIDIA is the king on the hardware side. Both of these companies have made massive, trillion dollar profits from AI. Just know that before creating posts like these.
You may not like their practices as businesses which is fine but don't say things that are simply not true because you will just lose credibility.
OpenAI may be making tens of billions in income per year but they're still losing money. Fun fact: They lost more money than they profited lifetime, and the last time they were in the green was in 2019 before the boom. No wonder considering LLM is using at least 20x more electricity for the same task.
Copilot has been a major success for Microsoft. Just like how Gemini has been for Google and Llama has been for Meta.
