Need new power supply...
Good day! At the moment there is a Hiper m800n 850w power supply. It's old, but it works, it's been installed since about 2013-2014. The system is currently working in conjunction with the motherboard Asus P8z77V-LX, I7-3770, RX580. I want to purchase an nVidia GeForce RTX3060 ASUS 12Gb LHR video card (DUAL-RTX3060-O12G-V2). And I want to install a new power supply for it, just in case. Please advise me of a reliable and long-lasting friend like the one who works for me to this day. thank you!

10 year warranty, Japanese capacitors, Tom`s Hardware and Kitguru recommendations.
Thx. What you think about Montech GAMMA II, 750W, 80+ Gold?

Not as good. Lower tier and no 16-pin connector for modern Nvidia cards.

I won't need this cool connector for the foreseeable future. For me, the main parameter is that if the power supply dies, so that it does not drag down the rest of the components.

Well, I would not trust this one to last. Just because company makes one good PSU series doesn`t mean that all their PSUs are good.

It's hard to argue with that
When it comes to power supply it is good design, quality of used elements (capacitors, but not only) quality of soldering, cables and connectors.
You can make cheap PSU, with high wattage, even efficiency is not big issue, but it might still be crap at the end.

There is no golden rule to find best, but looking on the length of warranty is a good indication.

Nobody will give long warranty to PSU built on cheap chinese components.

Looking on brand is not so good idea.
Even Seasonic doesn't produce all PSU with this name. Corsair also orders them by different manufacturers.

Tierlist (from internet) is good, but quite outdated.

New ATX 3.0 and 3.1 standard requires PSUs to be able to handle transient spikes for up to 200% of their rated power. So ATX 3.1 PSU rated for 850W should be able to handle 1700W short spikes.

So, theoretically any ATX 3.1 PSU should be of a very decent quality.
I personally recommend ones with 5 CPU&PCI-E ports so you can use motherboards with 2 ports and GPU with 3 ports in the future without a need of daisy chain connection.

Like the newest version of Corsair RM850x or NZXT C1200 Gold ATX 3.1 for example.

However, this did not come close to answering the question of which power supply is needed. I have allocated several copies to my wish list:
Deepcool PK800D, 800W, 80+ Bronze.
Deepcool PL750D, 750W, 80+ Bronze.
Zalman MegaMax, 800W, 80+ Standart.
Chieftec Chieftronic SteelPower, 750W, 80+ Bronze (BDK-750FC).
Chieftec Proton, 750W, 80+ Bronze (BDF-750C) RTL.
Cieftec "GDP-750C", 750W, ATX, PS2, 80PLUS, 140mm.
Redragon RGPS-850W. 850W, modular, 80 Plus Gold.
Cougar GX 800 Modular, PCIe Connector-4 pcs, ATX v2.31, 800W, Active PFC, 140mm Fan, 80 Plus Gold GX800 Retail.
ADATA XPG PYLON750B-BKCEU, 750W, 80+Bronze.
Montech GAMMA II, 750W, 80+ Gold (GAMMA750).
Is any of this worthy of attention?
