Is it a cheap 1080p monitor with HDMI only?
Then use a much more problematic DP to HDMI for the monitor.

If it's a 4K120Hz VRR TV with HDMI 2.1 and 10m away then the only possible working solution is Fiber Active HDMI 2.1 cable with a certificate. Copper cables will be losing signal and having random black screens or working well below specs like 60Hz and no VRR.

Sometimes hard to get a 10m HDMI to work with 4K, you could buy an optic fibre HDMI and they work at 10m+ no probs and are cheap enough, I would stick to 5m normal HDMI cable.

Use HDMI for TV and DP for monitor.

just set the gpu to clone the displays
and have the desktop 1080p

5060 is not great for 4k gaming anyway

it has a hdmi port, use that to the tv, and dp to the gpu

It is a simple 1920 x 1080 monitor 100Hz, nothing fancy.

The 1.8m DP to HDMI will be for monitor. Listing says it's 4K

The 10m HDMI 2.1 for the TV. I really need the 10m. The TV is close but I will be installing the cable around the living room to make it "permanent". Don't like loose cables around.

I'm buying both cables frm amazon and both have very high reviews and lots of sales. So fingers crossed. If all fails, they have a good return policy.

If this cable is what I think it is (one side is DP and the other side is HDMI), do not use it because 1) they overheat and 2) it could destroy your TV and/or monitor over time (or worse, the GPU).

These cables draw a lot of electromagnetic static as well.

I have one and well, these are my reports.

But check this out, when I was using it, I could get a large static shock from the metal chair which is 3 meters away which would affect the monitor and sometimes to see and arc appear during being shocked, about 3 meters away (the monitor would black screen and get zapped).

After removing that cable, the issues went away but be very careful if this is the cable you are trying out but I think you are using two cables (one for the TV and one for the monitor) which would be proper even though one is HDMI and the other is DP; furthermore, as everyone is saying, DP is best for the monitor and HDMI for the TV.

Yes, 2 cables.

DP to HDMI (1.8m) for HD monitor

HDMI to HDMI (10m) for 4K TV (not sure I will run games 4K as the monitor will be the primary display and I will just swap to TV for controller games).

10m ~33ft will not work at 4k no matter what the cable says

it should work at 1080p60 at that length, but depending on the cable quality it might not do that

if it doesnt work, return the cable, and get a hdmi extender set

Two cables but one cable is still DP to HDMI whereas above mentioned, I would rather use DVI-I than that cable or better yet, a DP to HDMI converter.

I tried using a 4k 120hz dp to hdmi and for one it didn't work, sound was choppy and got a lot of flickering to black screen and would not go above 60hz. Switched to an HDMI 2.1 and flipped right to 144hz and the sound issues and flickering were gone.

I went through A LOT of hdmi cables trying to get my setup to work, most only lasted a few weeks, the sole exception was cables by ruipro specifically their 8k cables.

I run a few of the black ones and have one of the expensive one way green ones I'll link here, still working great after a year (TV hooked up to an htpc and main gaming pc into an AVR and a splitter to get full 4k 120Hz 444 hdr with full 7.1.2 sound).

Actually won't be "using" sound on the DP to HDMI as I will use the speakers, but will certainly test it. The monitor has speakers.

That might be an idea, thanks. I would prefer not to have some extra adaptors, but if it needs be, then it shall. I had already checked that sort of solution as I was unsure if HDMI cables could go the 10 meters without hassle.
I'm going to install a cable track/raceway (or whatever it's called) for the HDMI and some extra LAN cables I need, so it's just a matter of testing and deciding if I'll be using HDMI or Cat6.

Most cables will not give you full spec beyond about 3m, 5m if you are lucky, you then need to look at active of fibre optic cables, I went through about £300 of cables trying to get one that worked at full spec at just 5m, cheaper ones died after a very short ammount of time, which seems pretty common on longer cables sadly.

The I tried the ruipro and not looked back, it's all I run now, id rather pay a couple bucks extra than be annoyed later, plus they have a no question replacement warranty, which is nice when a cable can cost £70+

Although other people may have different opinions, I have always been treated very well by amazon. Just as long as I buy stuff sold by amazon, they always have my back (actually never had that much to complain about, but the few times I did they were stellar). One time I had an xbox controller that had issues. I bought it at amazon and the procedure was to register the controller with xbox and sort warranty directly. Thing was, xbox had the wrong sell date on that controller and said it was out of warranty. Sent a message to amazon and half an hour later they called and offered a full refund if I wanted to return the controller (at no cost). Did that, got a new one.

The cable I got also says: "HDMI 8K 4K 2.1/2.0 10 m - 8K @ 60Hz 4K @ 120Hz DSC - 48 Gbit/s ". For 18 euros sure it is.. lol
