no sound on steam account and/or games
I have my computer hooked up to my TV. I went on my account to play some games but I have no sound. Sound still works on TV. I would appreciate any suggestions.

in windows audio control panel, disable all unused sound devices
check windows mixer volume, make sure steam client is maxed

Sound Settings < App Volume and Device Preferences and check if you have Steam set up properly to the correct audio output.
