GPU Upgrade advice?
Hello I am using rtx 3050 would like to know if upgrading to 5060ti (16gb) or 4070 12gb (the ti/super are out of my range). Just looking for a card that can give me a good video editing performance and for gaming I mainly just play Dota and some gacha games so performance in games isn't an issue for me.

If I get the 4070 12gb, I won't be able to change cases (really want to change for a smaller one to finally fit on my desk) , if I get the 5060ti I can get more storage/case. The price gap of the two gpus are about 10-11k php (almost 200$)

We have rendering machine at work for 3D modeling and video creating, VRAM does matter so you will get a boost for sure. I'd go for RTX 5060 Ti as it has newer generation Cores and faster memory type - that should be helpful for working. Also mind you - check your motherboard model and if it supports PCI E 5 Gen natively or through BIOS update.

I have the b550m Gigabyte AC (bought 2022 november), but i lose broke the antennas while trying to install it so I've just not have bluetooth forever.

I think you better check with Google how it works with RTX 50 series (2022 motherboards might require a BIOS update) and get the LAN cable or WiFi ready.

Always check and double check the motherboard.
You can also "test" it here:

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/

Or if you are unsure of the exact model, you can use the software from here:

https://www.userbenchmark.com/Software

After the analysis you can choose the parts to upgrade and it should (should, don't just rely on this) if your board is compatible with the GPU and if you need to upgrade the bios.

I used it recently as I was upgrading CPU and GPU. It told me I had to upgrade de MB bios for the CPU.

If you are unsure how to make a bios upgrade on the board, maybe study up on it a bit or get someone that knows how to do it. It's fairly simple via usb stick but errors can be catastrophic.

Also, check the label on the PSU (power supply) and make sure you have enough juice for the new GPU if it consumes more than the one you have. From the 3050 to the 5060ti it should be about 70 or 80w more (depending on the exact models).
