The Emoji movie, every single thing wrong with it

1. I was able to guess the twists within 20 minutes of the movie (maybe even less) ~ A good movie is one where theres lots of unseen twists, but once you've watched the movie for the second time, each clue that lead up to the twist is more seeable. Not with the Emoji Movie. Honestly, I guessed the whole movie within around 10 minutes, thats bad

2. Rip off of 'Wreck it Ralph ~ Honestly, I felt as if the whole movie was honestly a version of Wreck It Ralph. The only difference was was that I liked Wreck It Ralph. Wreck It Ralph is where a bad guy in a game travels out of his game to try to become the good guy, as he didn't fit in being the bad guy. Along the way, Ralph meets a girl called 'Glitch' that also felt like she didn't fit in. Towards the end of the movie, Ralph noticed that it's ok to be the bad guy. Kind of like the emoji Movie. The main character in the emoji movie travels out of his app after he noticed that he was different along the way, along the way he met someone who also felt that way. At the end of the movie they realized different is good.

3. Love Text Response ~ The Phone user, Alex, gets a love text from a girl that he had a crush on. During class, he asks his friend what he should write, and his friend says that he should do an emoji cause words are uncool. He picks, out of all things, the 'meh' face. Why the hell would you ever choose the meh face. That just signals to the girl that you don't feel the same way with her,that you don't really care.

4. Words are uncool ~ In the previous one I mentioned that Alex's friend tells Alex that words are uncool. No they really aren't. Honestly, if a girl texts a love confession, words are your best bet. Most girls like it when boys actually act sweet. Honestly, most girls would probably hate it if you never wrote back an actual note back to them,and instead just sent an emoji. Or at least anyone in their right mind would think that

5. Phones aren't everything ~ During one of the first scenes of the movie, Alex and his friend are in front of the school. If you look around, every single person around them is also on their phones, this is not an any way like the real world. Sure, the majority of people use their phones, but people like me NEVER use their phones, unless it's to call or text someone. Theres no one in the crowd of people that isn't on their phone, which isn't realistic. If you think about it, there should be a couple people not on their phones ;-;

6. Every one has times to type actual words ~ In the movie, the main character, the emoji, asked who has time to type actual words. And with that I would like to say this, basically everyone. Yes, sometimes we use emojis, but we use emojis to express how we feel over a certain thing. If we found something funny, the laughing emoji would be used. But never have I met anyone who just uses emojis and never actually types anything besides those. The keyboard is used way more then the emojis, because people actually type ;-;

7. Emojis are the most important invention in the history of communication ~ WRONG. Emojis may be cute and fun to use, but they are nothing near the most important invention in the history of communication. That's called a laptop, or a phone, not an emoji. Emoji's are add on's to your text. Phones are what allow us to text, and computers, so those are more important if anything then emojis.

8. Cringe ~ Being honest here, I cringed around 100 or so times in less then 10 minutes.

9. The main characters name ~ Wtf is wrong with the characters name. Gene? Is that even a name? I've never heard such a weird name. And the way it's spelled is honestly even weirder

10. I would prefer foodfight ~ Honestly, I would rather prefer foodfight then this garbage. It's just so bad

11. Kept a straight face throughout the movie ~ Honestly, it was so bad that the whole movie my face was blank. BLANK.

12. My low movie standards ~ Honestly, I have really low movie standards. Every single movie I watched, I in someway liked. Even if everyone else hated it. But not the emoji movie. The Emoji Movie is the only movie in my whole life that I hated.

13. Phones are a need ~ Throughout the movie, I felt as if the whole time they were saying that a phone is the best thing in life and everyone needs it. Weird, considering the fact that the last month, the only time I picked up my phone was to text someone or answer a call from my parents. Phones are not a need.

14. Not even the script for the movie is correct ~ The emoji movie is so bad, that the only script that is the whole movie is on reddit. It never tells a character change. Most scripts do this... CHARACTER: Hi. Not the emoji movie script. The only emoji movie script you can find is where it's all bunched up together to make just a juge paragraph. Not only that, but some of the spelling isn't correct and there are a few words missing. That's how hated it is.

15. More dislikes on youtube ~ All trailers (or at least that I've seen) have way more dislikes then likes, which is honestly saying something.

16. It's so bad that it's funny ~ Honestly it's super bad, and it's kind of funny how 'Sony' thought it would be a good movie

17. Popeyes got cancelled for the Emoji movie ~ Popeyes got cancelled for this sh*t. Wtf, Popeyes movie looks so much better then the emoji movie. The emoji movie should of got cancelled if anything.

18. Also a rip off of Inside Out ~ If you think of it, this cheap movie is also somewhat a cheap ripoff of Inside out, which is actually a good movie. The only difference is the fact that in Inside out, It's about being Emotions. Wait. Sh*t. Same with Emojis. In that case, It's different because Inside Out is about Emotions that a human feels in general, while 'The Emoji Movie' is about emojis in a phone -.-

19. Making the wrong face ~ At one part, the dad makes a what if question about Gene being sent out on the phone making the wrong face. Then Gene shows his dad him making the face. Honestly, though, it looks nothing and I mean NOTHING like a meh face should look like. Wtf.

20. The mom's eyelashes ~ Wtf, I feel as if Genes mom has some pretty long eyelashes, why. They look disgustingly huge and it makes me cringe.

21. The fact that this is all below ten minutes in the movie ~ All examples I used about the movie itself, happened in the first 10-15 minutes of the movie. Only around an hour of the movie left. That's honestly sad.

22. Heiroglyphics ~ At one part of the movie, the teacher in class (in the real world) talks about an ancient language of picture forms. He then asks if it reminds anyone of anything. Wth. Honestly, I can't even describe why this is so bad but it just is!

23. Don't use words ~ I've already talked about this, but it boggles my mind how Alex never actually responded with texts. Girls like a guy who actually responds with texts. Girls like a guy who actually writes back to them. Girls would probably deep down hate it if they put effort into sending a love text, just to be sent back an emoji.

24. A bad word joke ~ At one part, the Poop emoji starts to say oh sh*t, but it's cut short by someone else talking. Bad word jokes aren't funny. When will you guys learn that? They are overused, and honestly were much funny when they weren't used in a lot of movies.

25. I can't do this!!! ~ At one part, Gene, while in the cube says he can't do it. Wtf. He told his father he could do it but now he can't.

26. Thumbs have ab's? ~ During the movie, at the beginning, the thumb is told he's on standby. He replies with "Oh yeah" then starts working out by doing curlups and push up's, the only problem is is theres visible abs when he is doing curls up. Last I checked, you can't have that. I know it's just a movie, but come on. Just why in general.

27. I'm so nervous... ~ When Genes parents find out that Gene is gonna be used, Genes dad says that he's so nervous he could almost shrug. That has nothing to do with being nervous. I know that he's quote on quote a meh face, but still it would have made more sense if he said something about being so nervous he could almost cry, but the reason he can't is because he isn't that emoji. In my opinion that makes way more sense. Genes dad can at any given moment shrug. "I could almost shrug" no you can shrug. smh.

28. Beam me up ~ One of the people starts happily yelling "Beam me up! Beam me up" Honestly, it's just useless dialogue only in the movie to make the movie longer. But they could have chose something else. Saying that won't increase any chances of that emoji being selected so wtf.

29. Mel ~ Genes father is named Mel. Wth. That is a pretty sh*tty name being honest here. I would hate to have that name at any given moment.

30. Jailbreaker's name ~ Another thing with the name, what kind of name is 'Jailbreaker'...? Does that even qualify as a name? Theres tons of actual names that mean jail... Plus she honestly never even went to jail or broke out of it...

31. Genes parents are sh*tty parents ~ Honestly, instead of going down and calming and telling their son it's ok, they leave him to deal with the situation he created by himself,then they also comment,later in the story, about wanting to take him home and lock him up. Wtf that's horrible parenting

32. Like you are, is a malfunction??? ~ On the script for the movie, at one part someone says "like you are, is a malfunction". I'm pretty sure it is meant to be "What you are, is a malfunction" as in the movie I remember it saying that. Truly sad. This movie is so so bad that the script isn't even correct, spelling wise and whats in the movie wise.

33. No, I can be meh ~ Gene says this, funny considering he's yet to make a decent meh face yet.

34. How the hell did gene in general destroy basically everything ~ Being honest here, he f*cked up every single thing. One minute he's in the cube, the next minute the whole place is screwed up. How.... just how is life that hard?

35. The fact that the crying emoji is still crying ~ I think it's impossible to cry your whole life, wouldn't your eyes dry out?

36. I gotta be MEHHH ~ This happened earlier in the movie, but made me cringe. Gene is upstairs getting ready and he starts singing a song that lasted only around 3 seconds. He says I gotta be in a happy voice, and then he says meh in a weird low monotone voice. I gotta be meeh. Exactly like that. It made me cringe so hard. Luckily though, it would have been worse if he had broke out into a song in general

37. I knew you weren't ready ~ Gene is sitting outside and his parents come out. They talk, and then Mel says that he knew he wasn't ready. If Mel knew that Gene wasn't ready, then he should have said something to stop Gene from doing it in the first place.

38. Your mom and dad still love you ~ This is when gene is talking to his mom and dad, mom says that they'll still love him. And then, around two sentences later the suggest locking him up in the apartment. Yes, Gene is totally loved by his parents

39. I'm not going to run away from this... ~ Gene says he wasn't gonna run away from this, even though in the movie he ran away. I mean he came back but he still ran away.

40. And then our whole world gets wiped ~ Smiler says this when her and Gene and talking. I would like to disagree. Just because one thing happens on a phone, I doubt someone would wipe it just for that one reason. If they do, then they are nothing but retarded honestly

41. Anti Virus bots ~ Smiler tells Gene that they'll set him up with Anti Virus bots who will delete him. But honestly, I truly honestly doubt that an emoji could be a virus. So if he wasn't at all a virus, they would still delete him. Anti virus bots delete virus's, not actual emojis that aren't infected.

42. That better not be my chinese food ~ High Five says this. Weird. He's being accused of bringing a malfunction into the loser lounge, and the only thing he responds with is accusing someone of eating his food.

43. Bots! ~ The bots were following Gene, and before they come jailbreak asks why Gene is able to do that. Then the bots come, and Gene tells her that they have to go, but all jailbreak cares about is the fact that he's more then one face. They leave the place 2 minutes or so later. Wth. retarded. When you are being chased you have to be fast. Jailbreak was told that he was being chased by bots, but still chose to ask more questions about his face instead.

44. Bots are stupid ~ Gene and Jailbreak, along with highfive, go through a secret passage thats hidden by barrels. The bots were on their butts though. The bots saw them and went to them, but jailbreak and Gene had already went through the secret tunnel. The problem is is that the bots saw the two going right. Yet, the first thing the bot did was look left for the two. wtf.

45. Gene is candy ~ Gene is thought to be candy by the game,candy crush, which doesnt make sense. Gene could never even be candy as candy crush is programmed to start off with all candies in the box. Because Gene was in the box, there must not have been a candy where he was, meaning that the game wasn't working properly (hopefully that made sense)

46. Jailbreak shouldn't know that much about candy crush ~ I know she's been around the phone, but I doubt that she went into candy crush so how does she know so much about it?

47. Bad jokes ~ Being honest here, all jokes in the movie were stupid jokes that aren't even funny.

48. High five licks Gene ~ High five licks Gene to see if he's candy, even though Gene still looks like a human and still acts like a human.

49. The moms name is Mary ~ How come the moms name is Mary and everyone elses name is so abnormal?

50. Jailbreaker says a feminist statement ~ Look I have nothing against feminists, but sometimes I feel as if theres already so much to do with them. And then Jailbreak just has to say something about boys and how they always take credit of things a woman does. Funny considering the fact that Gene never freaking did that to begin with. Sure he finished what she was saying, but that's not taking credit.

51. Wireless Repair Service ~ In the movie, Alex calls Wireless repair service.Im sorry, how did he call them so quickly? I doubt he has a contact for them so how did Alex contact them so fast?
