FL Studio
I'm looking into purchasing FL Studio, but only now see the huge prices for the editions available, starting at 100 dollars for the most basic version. Will that basic, 100 dollar version work well and have lots of features available? Or will i feel extremely limited in my options? What edition would you recommend if the 100 dollar one is extremely subpar in your eyes? Thanks guys

Well, I can't recommend the basic version. It has no audio recording or audio clips whatsoever, which are absolutely necessary.

Producer is great if you're tight on money and have your own plugins. It has all the features you need, including audio recording (great for guitars by the way) and audio clips (useful for electronic music).

Signature is basically the same as Producer, it just comes with more plugins. It includes a few of Image-Line's synths like Sytrus, which while hard to use, is awesome. I personally bought the Signature bundle because I wanted the extra plugins.

I personally recommend the Signature Bundle, but the Producer Edition should give you all you need. Image-Line does sales and coupon hand outs occasionally, so you can always buy any synths you want later at a reduced price.

its better if you crack it, buying fl studio is like buying sea water from a beach ngl
Holy thread resurrection, Batman!
I have fl studio to do covers. If you really wanna create music and is really passionate about it I would just go big or go home.
Used it a few times, was an interesting bit of a software.
