The kid friendly channel problem.
This is gonna be kinda long so just be prepared (No tl;dr for lazies)

The whole thing is just me ranting and talking about this.

Kid friendly channels have been garnering millions upon millions of views, but most of these "kid" friendly channels have been involved in some kind of "family friendly" (not so family friendly) content such as Spiderman getting married and him just in underwear.

It's an extremely weird kind of kid friendly "content", Not only has this type of video content been getting millions and getting channels that make this disturbing stuff hundreds of thousands of subscribers, potentially MILLIONS of subscribers.

How do they garner so many views in such a short span of days? Simple.

Algorithm abuse. Many kids search for things like spiderman, elsa. etc. Since kids will search for this stuff, they are by instinct curious about what's in there, and in doing so, click on the video, which gets the video views and thus, assuming the video has ads, giving the channel in question money. which means they can pump out merch and buy costumes and computers.

The problem with the algorithm on these video typesis that this content is saved onto the search bar for everyone, so the same videos will appear, except in much more number. So that means more money for the channel in question, It's essentially a neverending cycle.

There have been animated videos, liveaction videos. poorly animated videos, This is a big problem, as these videos are aimed towards CHILDREN. Why are kids so inclined to search for this stuff?

See. Frozen and Spiderman movies and shows have always made children laugh and be entertained in general. So when the kid wants elsa/spiderman content, the creators of the content abuse the algorithm by spamming a bunch of hero names in the video (eg: Spiderman and Elsa poop on Venom Nursery Rhymes for kids), the kids in particular click on it, because most kids have no sense of why the videos in question are bad/disturbing.

These videos garner hundreds of thousands of likes or perhaps millions. I'm gonna bring this up again. Since so many kids search for elsa and spiderman content, they see these videos and give it views. thus giving the channel in question money.

Usually these videos are made to be 10 minutes to make more money so the channel can pump out more videos and make merch or make more and more videos if the channel in question isn't interested in merch and clothing dedicated solely to the channel.

All of these vids can be pumped out easily, and they bypass demonitization and ad removal with kid friendly characters.

In conclusion: Kid friendly channels that make disturbing content need to be removed because they bypass so many of the filters put in place.

Of course, many of the things i've talked about may need more clarification and fixing, so please tell me about the problems and how i can fix them.

Please don't kill me for this moderators.

And also you can bash me for this, honestly it won't help much. I would like it if you were a bit more calm and well mannered about this.

That’s bad and all, but Mr. Krabs sold Spongebobs everlasting soul for a measly $0.62 without any hesitation.

How is marriage not family friendly?
probably because it actually shows the parts of the stuff/the guy in particular essentially naked. Maybe it's because marriage shouldn't be shown to children that are almost babies or are only 4 years old.
You mean like their parents most likely are?

Spiderman in particular has gone through dramatic changes in almost 40 years.

I grew up with Spiderman but he was an irrelevant superhero, i didn't even follow Iron Man nor Wonder Woman.

Robert Downey Jr and Gal Gadot's portrayal of these respective characters, they suit them though on the other hand the Marvel and DC universe as a whole draws in a weird crowd, at this time.

Marriage, children will understand, but at that certain age.

I assume you are talking about Youtube, in which regards it has been addressed...

And then overkilled...

Back in the days of LeafyIsHere, cyberbullies would target popular kids, leech off their content and pretend to cringe upon it... with an obsession of prolonging and sharing it around. Creating negative mob mentality was a zero effort, zero talent, and zero skill way to profit upon puppets. The video would be clickbaited with one of the popular kids names, even if unrelated, and drive click-thrus with a back and forwards abuse movement. Exploiting the system for profit. While the dumb viewers became addicted into the drama.

A secret Youtube meeting was formed about what to do with those certain Youtubers, but nothing was achieved from the discussion. Later on the ad apocalypse occurred forcing more action. Leafy's channel just happened to be the #1 affected by it all and he raged after not being able to profit from the exploit anymore.

Next was the child exploitation... Youtube ended up hurting kid and family channels, but hiding their 'like' recommendations, auto-disabling comments and pretty much locking them down, while checking for creepy adult comments upon them. The child's channel should be either over the age of 13 or monitored by their parent anyways, but since people complain that they can't parent themselves, it's now enforced.

It's well known kids get exploited for views/ads on Youtube, however it is being stopped and won't last forever. The more you complain about it, the stricter the rules are getting as a side-effect and the harder it is for legal kid's content to get views too. Just need to find a balance.

However, the bottom line comes down to the parent monitoring their kids and actually being a parent in the first place. I guess that's too hard for some that want a free babysitter?

Should mommy and daddy live in different houses until the kid starts school?

No. Because no. Censorship. "Kid-friendly" is a myth sold to lazy parentals.

Also never have sex, never cook or do dishes (those pointy knives...), never talk about news (nothing but violence), never listen to metal...

There are some Rap Lyrics that are bad for the kids. If you know what i mean. Not just metal.

There are some Rap Lyrics that are bad for the kids. If you know what i mean. Not just metal.

Metal music is actually derived from classical roots, with additional speed and distortion added into the mix. Those can tend to enjoy it, follow the lead guitar, rather than the lyrics.

The impact it has is actually a more passive and intelligent individual. They tend to be great at programming or working out problems. However, they also tend to be quite lazy and attempt to do the less amount of work possible, so need to really apply themselves to achieve.

If your kid listens to metal, I suggest letting them enjoy it.

As for rap, those that enjoy that type of music focuses way more upon the lyrics. At least avoid all mumble rappers... then consider if the lyrics are suitable or not.

iDubbz should make a video about this!
Oh wait a minute...
Maybe the parents should be parents and not the kids friend and monitor what their kids watch on youtube.
