Nightmare/sleep paralysis
I've just woken up scared.

I believe I just experienced sleep paralysis (i'm not sure), but i was consciously trying to wake my self up.

I feel a short burst of pain in my body and my head is pulled off my pillow and to my chest. I'm contorted. My body is in an unnatural postion.

Next thing i know is i'm being dragged out of my bed by my feet and I'm caling for help.

I feel like i have a time limit now and i need to wake up. The drop from the bed to the floor felt so real.

I'm being dragged to the bathroom. When I open my eyes for a few seconds, I see my face.

And then I wake my self up. :(

Was it Sleep paralysis?

No, not even close. During sleep paralysis you’re unable to move or speak. Sounds like a dream.

Did feel i was trying to wake up though trying to move my fingers and toes but couldn't :/ I guess i was waking up, but when i closed my eyes i went back to the dream? I probably didn't know what was reality and what was the dream.

P.S: My profile is named after sleep paralysis if you didn't realise already.

Sleep paralysis is when your mind wakes up, but your body is chemically still asleep. It would feel like you are frozen and can't move, so you jump to the conclusion someone or something is holding you down against your will. The more you fight it, the more you freak out and start to assume shadows are figures in the room. You feel like you can't breath, so assume something is on your chest or holding you by the throat, etc.

It's best to stay calm and try to wiggle your toes.

The feeling of falling can also wake you up and it's natural for the body to jolt from that.

Well I woke up being terrified too.
I had a dream, this is it:

So I was playing Cod ghosts (Yes, Ghosts. Even though I really hate that game.) on search and rescue and was doing decently well and somebody got on voice chat and said they found something creepy on the map flooded and I plugged in my mic and asked him to show me. He invited me and then I joined him. He said it had to be on Team Deathmatch. Backed up into a corner and he was just gone. He left the party but he was still in the game, I just couldn't find him. I found a sort of house of clowns, and there were lots of clowns who were impaled by things. The bodies looked so real. And since it was a dream, it felt like I could smell them. I got passed that and then I found a room full of mirrors. It said turn around on one of the mirrors, so I turned my character around, then another mirror said "No, ACTUALLY turn around." I was so scared, but then I did turn around. I saw a clown with blood coming out of his eyes and mouth and and so much blood came out it was turning pink. His green hair was stuck together on his cheeks and nose and everything, so I ran for my door and my computer and xbox and everything else in the room swung right in front of me and the clown was right there. He said in the same voice as the guy who invited me, he said "Don't look at the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mirrors." Everything went back to normal, and I was sitting down I was in the room with the mirrors on the Xbox and then I turned off the Xbox and then I woke up...

It still gives me chills remembering it.

I know what it is; my profile is based on it. I have experienced it on my stomach once. I was not sure if this experience was sleep paralysis. The first time i was dragged out of my bed a few years ago I saw the old hag dragging me (a common entity in sleep paralyis experiences).

I think you meant to reply to the guy I quoted?
Alex Helders 9 Apr, 2018 @ 6:32am
That is correct. I do find the reply system on steam complicated. Apologies.
dyne 9 Apr, 2018 @ 6:34am
Sounds fake to me. Pretty coincidental that the guy who based his profile on sleep paralysis has a sleep paralysis experience.
