I was with my dad out and about, and a lady told us we made a great couple.

One time, one of the greeters (or whatever they call the employees who stand outside shops to bother you when you’re walking into the shop) at a mall, complimented me on my looks when I was walking past a shop.

Said I had an “ethnic look,” and asked me if I’m Jamaican.

Like what does that even mean? Ethnic look? Everyone is ethnic. What would not looking ethnic look like? A faceless blob? I know what he meant was just to compliment me and to say that I had a unique look he wasn’t used to seeing. But it was pretty strange. I guess he was excited to be out of his home and around new people. And no I’m not Jamaican. I wasn’t dressed in Jamaican flag colors or anything.

Can’t believe he got paid for that. I wonder what he said to other people.

It’d be like if he saw you talking on your phone and was like, “oh what’s that you are doing? Putting on makeup?” Like ya dude I’m applying makeup that doesn’t look like makeup using light rays from this glowy box. It’s new Jamaican tech. These buttons here let me increase the volume of the makeup. And it has a conversation with me while I’m applying it.

People constantly compliment my calf muscles, it happens almost once a week a complete stranger will come up and say I have huge calf muscles and ask if I play football or something. I always feel kinda awkward about it because yeah I do have weirdly muscly legs but I don't work out or anything so I have no idea why they're like that.

1994. My high school principle said it after hearing the word on TV and thought using it would make him sound "hip", whatever that means.

I was doing acupuncture for wrist pain a few years ago, and the therapist told me in Chinese, as she was placing needles over the tendon of left thumb, that beautiful people like me got better looking hand too.

No.
That's how you get violent vigilantes coming after you, to "take care of you", hunting you down, and harming you. There are plenty of examples of this or something similar which have resulted in assaults & murders over the years, especially since social-media outrage over unverified claims became a popular source of collective citizen mob-mentality.

I've only taken note of a few particular instances but ..."naming & shaming" is dangerous, even if the claim is true, but most of the time it absolutely isn't [true]. Too many people are gullible & don't verify their information, though.

I just took it as a compliment.
