But women have fought back and they won the right to vote.
They won the right to an education.
They won social rights.
And they won the hearts and minds of the whole western world.

As we now turn the page to another year, 2023, we are still not done with our struggle to achieve basic given rights.

Several battles remain:

- Equal Pay for Equal Work
- Protection from toxic male harassment and domestic violence
- Being hired to the positions and getting raises without being part of 'the boys club'
- Entry to male dominated areas held by the patriarchy

As a society we have come far, but not far enough.
Do everything you can in this new year to further the rights and inclusion of women.
Ask yourself what you can do to improve the world.

If you don't know where to start try to look at your own life..
As a gamer what can you do to include women into your spaces?
Stop online harassing women.
Be nice in gaming lobbies and include women gamers in your gaming clans.
Support movies with female lead actresses.
