tl;dr
yes
i'd rather die in war than die in my house. I have some knowledge of repair so i'd hopefully get stuck as a gear head / grease monkey just helping clean fix and fine tune the vehicles and such.
I am the type of soldier to get yelled at for not shooting the enemy and having full mags.
It still really depends on the circumstances, this question leaves a lot of important details out.
If anything they would force me into manual labour in some factory or something to support the war effort, like what women did during WW2.
