japanese people are very friendly, honorable, literally never troll or lie, and into gaming they especially never cheat in online games.

also Japanese people have the friendliest religion on this world, Shinto.
it can be compared with ancient paganism . . .

western countries are profit-oriented, just like China . . . and want more more more power and influences and money . . . so they even forget what quality is . . .

Japan has it's flaws just as every other country.

But they are way more passionate about their video games, TV shows/movies, and books than the US that's for sure.

* Earthquakes and natural disasters, Godzilla.
* Xenophobia (you can live 30 years in Japan and still remain a "gaijin" or "foreigner")
* Insane corporate culture
* Population ageing
* Nobody speaks English
* Urban architecture, very dense buildings and small expensive apartments
* Prices for vegetables and fruits. Fruits are so expensive that they are sold by the piece and not by weight and as a gift.
* If you like cheese you will have problems finding it here, it will either be expensive or weird
* Lots of weird products
* You can take trash out of your home to specially designated places only on certain days.
* USA global partner

It's jarring to see numerous people defending Japan's xenophobia.

Racism: 😡
Racism but in Japan: 🥰

it turns me off to countries like them. small but heavily packed so most of the design depends mostly on tiny enclosed buildings and spaces. like whats the point of living and working that much to earn a tiny place. if new york being mocked for that amount of money/quality in apartments. it should be the same

A tiny place needs less work though. Easy to clean and to keep tidy. Doesn´t need to be too tiny though. But usually much of the space is wasted, only to have space. It should be affordable of course. And if something is much or little work depends on the individual. In general everybody could work less, but still have more money if we would distribute it differently. But then there are those who like work - or feel some societal pressure about it, which is probably a big thing in Japan. Perhaps more than anywhere else.
