Drop in quality in gaming

Does anyone else have this feeling that gaming is becoming less and less creative. I can't realy put my finger on it but I feel that 2014 was an especially poor year for releases.

I know there will always be the "YOU JUSTIFY ANYTHING, YOU'RE A ♥♥♥♥♥, GAMING IS GETTING BETTER" crowd, but does anyone think otherwise?

Yeah 2014 sucked donkey @$$ for video games mostly, but there will be lots of good indie games that will be released later this year.I would say that this is possibly the best year for indie games.

The last two years have been about gearing up for the new consoles, there are some very interesting games on the horizon, gaming is far from moribund.

Why the hell would anyone play an MMO nowadays anymore when there are so many better games? I mean, people played LOL for the community but you can find that anywhere now.
