I don't wanna catch Paris Syndrome

France is still france but to experience the real french culture, you need to deeper into the country. Stay out of the big cities and go to the small french towns and villages.

I can't really speak for france as per say but it's the same in italy, small towns, small villages is were you will still find the old italian culture. Not saying the big cities don't have culture but over the 40 years, italy, just like france, germany and the UK etc have all changed.

I remember my first time in rome back in the 80's and it was a different place, today it's a melting pot of craziness, noise, filth, crime and graffiti. Not a place I want to visit.

The thing is about these big western cities is that the law's of the land are not enforced. Because laws are not enforced, people do what ever they want. From dropping litter and graffiti all the way up to public drug use, knife crime, gangs and so fourth.

Parts of our cities now look like 3rd world countries and all our politicians do is talk the talk without ever doing anything expect cut the police budget.
