Tell me about it. Taxes in this country are crazy.
You pay a tax on the money that you spend but you were already taxed on that money. That money was taxed before it got to you. It was taxed before it got there. It was taxed by the people who earned it, and was taxed before they got it where it was taxed... and taxed... and taxed...

They claimed I didn't remit payroll tax properly. I did have an accountant and he ran like a dog the second I questioned him about it. I think he did mess up the filings. But it wasn't my fault.
