the "we are number one" memes are easily my favourite of all time. they were some of the most fun i ever had actually consuming meme contents, which usually is amusing but forgettable. stefán karl stefánsson (robbie rotten) officially making his own meme of it and loving how much the internet adored his silly character was adorable. unfortunately in his case he died very young, only 43 years old of cancer. up until his final days he was still posting silly videos of himself with his friends and loved ones. i can only hope to be going in such a way myself, bright and cheerful.
