We're getting a bit of a break from the heat here in the Great Lakes region, but yeah, we've been uncomfortably close neighbors to Beelzebub's Flybown Bawbag for the last month or so.

You have 40 acres and a steel reinforced castle. And a sweet shower room.

But yeah, it's hot. August.

Bucket of cold water with towel in it, use towel to wipe sweat and cool head.

Repeat at intervals throughout the day.

Doesn't work when humidity is so high. Evaporation just doesn't happen. That's why when you pick your drink up there's a puddle of condensation under it.

it cooled down here and this morning you needed a spring coat, it's 21°C and no feels like higher humidity factor in temperatures the weather network usually reports

Believe it or not- but it's tolerable out there recently.

It has been steady Sunny days, the smoke has cleared out and the skies are nice and blue.

The only thing that I haven't seen that is blue lately are dogs. I haven't seen many that are red, pink, purple or other usual colors lately. That part is kinda strange. Someone should look into that.

I think you should either relieve the heat in the shower with another or on the porch in the shade with lemonade.

But yeah, Apollo has a dry heat. You're under a gorilla butt.

One mistake that I made this weekend was on one night I wore a silk shirt.

It was too soon. It was turning into a sweat magnet.

I've got a hiking shirt that clings to my bod. It's a great shirt, I like it, but it's subject to the whims of static electricity.

Sweat magnet doesn't bring the girls in the yard.

I like a quick wicking sports shirt.

I love wearing them around the house- but it was a bit too soon for wearing it being outside for that long.

Going to places like stores where the walk only is from parking spaces is a different beast. For probably a couple to a few more weeks is too soon.
