Of course, if you're feeling guilty about your good fortune, you could always make a point of being a bit more generous? I remember stories back in the olden days where rich businessmen would walk through the town square, handing out $100 bills. You'd probably need a police escort to try that nowadays, but you get the idea.

Honestly, same. I like my job and can't picture myself doing anything else to make a living, but I feel it contributes little to society, despite how in-demand it is. I'm otherwise useless if the internet or the electricity were to go out.

Do you work for the government by any chance. The public sector workers I have known have unbelievably easy jobs. 4 hours a day, only half of that actually working, and all working from home kind of levels.
