Report a translation problem
I only report the most egregious things. I'd rather tell them what I think directly... and then get banned for doing it, usually.

Only 48 since the beginning of this year.
No Thanks messages today, though I'm certain there were a few that tried the 'you fell for bait' nonsense.
At least, thats what it would be if all of my reports have been responded to. I'm certain the real number is in the thousands.

Edit: Don't you love the fact that Steam tells you that your report went though?
Not particularly. It incentivises abuse of the system by people who want to get a petty power trip from it. If you got no feedback you'd be less likely to report and only report the most egregious things.
It's also a good metric for determining moderator bias.
For example: if you report someone for saying ♥♥♥ and get a response, you know that telling someone to ♥♥♥ is a punishable offense.
If, conversely, like me, you have reported numerous posts of users smearing religious individuals and receive zero response from steam support about it... Well, that just tells you that Steam Support lives in a society and they expect us to as well, doesn't it? 🧐
The message doesn't tell you what post the action was taken on, and the time delay can be ridiculously long (I got a message a couple of months after a report for example) and even when it is not long it is inconsistent. As such you can't tell what the message has been for and what it hasn't so you can't accurately make judgements like this.
You can if you only report one type of content pet account. Of course, steam support is usually willing to affirm it for you as well if asked.
Me: "Why was I warned for a satirical post of the WEF when reports I send in of people insulting Christians go unanswered?"
Steam Support: "The warning was applied correctly. I get that it can feel unfair to receive a warning, but the existence of content that violates our rules does not permit objectionable content to remain untouched."

Don't get me wrong, I know the moderation is a little wonky. For example in the Baldur's Gate 3 forums there was a group of people gloating about being part of a rape gang, the worst ban any of them got was 24 hours, meanwhile people (quite rightly) upset by that were getting week, month or even permanent bans just for mentioning it. From both Steam mods as well as Larian mods.
Just pointing out that you can't use the "we have looked at the post you've reported" notifications to accurately determine anything.
The only time I have ever reported anyone without suspecting they're also reporting me was a literal ISIS recruiter. And even then since I support free speech I am torn over whether this was morally right or not.
Reported inflammatory and obvious bait, nothing removed here on steam. Pretty obvious the mods supported the left leaning views.
