Do you believe we can ever achieve world peace?
The title says it all. My opinion on this is a “realistic” no. Not saying it’s impossible but it’s gonna be gosh darn hard for everyone to get along with each other because everyone has different ideas and will fight to defend it.

What do you guys think? You think we can or will we just keep on fighting until the bitter end?

Who nose?
Post the invention of the atomic bomb no major world powers have fought direct major wars.

Since then there have been smaller wars, civil wars, proxy wars...

Ultimately, pax WW2, the world has been unnaturally calm compared to the usual violence.
No. Earth is a loosh farm. It's broken by design. Violence doesn't disappear, it just changes form and moves around.

Well there are still wars that happened after WW2. Sure… it’s not on a scale of WW2 but it still happens. I’m talking about a world where there is no need to fight another country anymore like for selfish (stealing land or resources) or ideological reasons. Or maybe you just don’t want that country to have nukes too so you steamrolled them before they can even get it. Those kind.

If you just MK Monarch program everyone, they won't be able to fight anymore.
Yeah, maybe a billion years from now.
There is no legitimate evidence nukes exist in real life.
Sure, just *eliminate* (ahem) all the people in Florida and Texas.

Problem solved. Just ask every commenter at Ars Technica, they'll tell you.
"It's 2025, we don't need nukes now, we use drones!"

O_________O
Some people think China is sideways in real life.
I think so. At least to a certain extent.
If technology is advanced enough or a common goal is shared. :steamhappy:

But we tested them. Russia even dropped a nuke so big that the shockwave looped around the earth 3 times.

Of course not. I’m just a little guy. Why would anyone trust me with a nuke? But other nations have tested it although I never seen it for myself.
