Are you bisexual?
Non exclusionary behavior? Why does it matter what's on the flag if we can't accept each other?
But most importantly, heterosexual relationships have never been so taboo as homosexual relationships so any special privileges a bisexual might want are serviced by proxy through granting them to homosexuals anyway. Well, unless you want to knock monogamy down a peg so you can marry a person of each sex or something along those lines. Moreover, bigamy is a tough sell to the rest of society because marriage is supposed to be an anti-cheating arrangement, and even bisexuals tend to be monogamous. That's why bisexuals fall through the cracks: It's political advocacy, and they don't need particularly distinct changes in law that won't be covered by homosexual advocacy.
I suppose it's not out of character for left winger progressives, especially of the alphabet soup variety, to insist upon extending language inconveniently. I suppose going from "he or she" to express gender neutrality to 2SLGBTQQIPAA+++-+ and now I suppose "homosexual and bisexual" because "Look at me because I'm ever so slightly different and need to get special attention for no particular reason". Besides, bisexuals are part of the core L.G.B.T. series of initials, and even Trump's truncated L.G.B. version, so in that regard they're very visible. Ah wait no, "homosexual and bisexual" ain't enough because it erases the distinctions "Gay, Lesbian and Bisexual"I suppose?
Plus classifying your relationship isn't strictly about identifying you, but how you relate to your partner, so in that regard 'bisexual couples" don't exactly exist. The way i"dentification works" is that if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, then it's a duck.
