Why is the news obsessed with Jamie Dimon?
For the record, for those who don't now, he's the President and CEO of JP Morgan Chase. And it seems like news articles always have to mention his opinion on EVERYTHING, as if somehow anyone gives a ♥♥♥♥ what the CEO of a bank thinks just because he's the President of a well-known one.

Even his opinion on remote work is given the same latitude and seriousness as say an article about the government doing something. I'm not sure if it's because they just need content for something or Wall Street is practically investing in him to teach us all "poor people" how to invest and who to trust.

He is powerful in his field and thus, his advice will always be a thing they seek or his opinion. The markets might be effected by his words positively or negatively
