Damn cats
I went outside because too hot inside and some cool breeze and I saw a street cat. I decided to catch the cat but it runs damn fast. I run too but it always keeps the same distance away looking back. Damn cat. No way catching it.

Then I made little research. In fact a cat accelerates as fast as out top sprinter Husein Bolt from Jamaica, at 44 km/h. A cat is only a slightly faster at 48 km/h.

But that is a top athlete sprinter who trains this speed for years. A normal person has no chance to catch a cat.

Reminds me of a story of a man and his son who were trying to get a calf in the barn. The two men kept pushing it trying to make it go, but it wouldnt budge.
Then along came milkmaid, i think it was, said she can make that calf go in the barn.
And as the two men, stood gaping, the milk made gave the calf her finger to suckle, like a pacifier or binky, and the calf followed her into the barn, easy peasy.

Generally, animals don't like being chased.

Cats like kitty treats or catnip. Got some fish? they might entertain the idea of letting you be nearer to them for a treat. Maybe
