Obesity is not natural
Yes, people are born with an attraction bias. This is confirmed after science has tested people who were born without vision. They get people without vision to grope human mannequins and these blind people find obesity to be unappealing funny enough. They test babies too.

So there you have it, the most neutral and fair judges of body attraction have spoken. Does it make the Lizzos of the world feel bad? Probably. Do they deserve respect and kindness? Yes. Will our species change their preferences? Not in our life times, there is a thousand generations of natural evolution that has gone into our instincts for sexual attraction. Now, humans drive in cars and fly in planes without thinking anything of it, and we're glued to our smart phones since the turn of the millennium The social change won't take thousands of years if the activists are really determined and dig their heels in. A hundred years of gaslighting might get us to lust after the Lizzos, but it looks like big pharma is going to eliminate obesity with stuff like ozempic.

I agree with WarHero on being an example, that's a great way to sell your argument. But I also have to ask, how does the baby test work? How do they tell that babies aren't chubby chasers?
I don't know what you mean. Is obesity attractive? Not to me, but to each their own. Is it natural? Again, not to me (I'm rail-thin), but I'd say it absolutely is for humanity at large.

For most of human evolution, being able to store lots of fat was a net advantage, since you'd never know when the next famine would hit, and your daily activities would make it impossible to achieve true obesity anyway.

Pacific Islanders are a perfect example of this. Since their lifestyle was basically feast-of-famine, and they've had plenty of genetic bottlenecks to filter out naturally skinny people, they're genetically predisposed to obesity. Add in terrible diets introduced after WW2, and you have island nations like Nauru where almost everbody is overweight.

I'm losing weight just by not drinking alcohol.
No extra exercise.

This cat gets it
When I cut carbs and stick to it I drop a pound per day WITHOUT exercise. Eating things like candy, ice cream and other carb loaded deserts and snacks keeps me from losing weight AND puts weight on if I need to simply by eating excess.

Look what average people eat. An excess of Carb LOADED JUNK!
