Are all malls completely dead today? (As in them being abandoned)
Since online shopping has conquered people's spending habits worldwide, does that mean malls are really dead (as in every single one is gone forever including ones in big cities in any country) or are they still around in some circles (in any country and city) like people still go outside and window shop in a store browsing what's available or prefer living a sedentary lifestyle instead?

There are some here and there. But good luck getting anyway to notice you in one.

Mall of America is still thriving it seems, it's going to win the Mall Battle Royale and be the last Mall standing I bet.
There's a few around here that survive because the illegal immigrants shop there because they don't do online shopping.
I have known store owners who set up in a couple of malls and they say the main issue isn't a lack of customers as much as the malls incresing their rents astronomically because the buildings are ageing, and so requiring more maintenance, on top of them being required to continually maintain ever more stringent safety standards due to being public places.

Ultimately it reaches a point where there's no conceivable way to get enough extra feet through the door to pay the rent.
Far from dead, people still like to visit them around here. Mostly just to eat something, though, not to buy stuff.
Malls still exist?

Ye olde shopping centre.
Most jurisdictions legalized marijuana so no point in malls now.

Yep, I worked at a mall and once saw a very suspicious guy talking to my boss, who owned the store. I'm pretty sure there was something fishy going on there.
