Is KFC in the USA crap? (Yes or No)
I've heard that the quality of KFC has diminished in it's country of origin but doing well in other regions (like in Asia or Middle East) as the menu is adapted to their palate (food exclusives that don't exist in the USA), even the marketing campaigns do differ based on region.

Japan has their own portrayal of Colonel Sanders, they even have a buffet in some locations than being just a fast food joint. Have you been to a KFC overseas? If so, how different is their menu (regarding the food they sell) or regional pricing (is it cheaper than in the US)?

Once, I've been to a KFC in Kazakhstan: even over there the quality is better despite that region not being rich as the USA, buns used on their burgers looks similar to Turkish bread while the fries are shoestring rather than bearing the thick cut commonly seen in the USA.

I haven't been there in probably 15 years but it was going downhill last time I was there. I remember it being a lot better when I was a kid, and the restaurants were much cleaner and nicer. Same with all fast-food and chain restaurants. In fact pretty much all "going-out" experiences like that have gone downhill since smartphones / internet and then doordash and things like that just killed it.
better off just making your own food these days

If you eat out in the US you're eating crap. It's a given and near universal, whether it's a mom&pop's or a chain. They're all using the same garbage for raw material.

I'm afraid that's true. Being obese isn't just about quantity, it's about quality too. Some countries have just "industrialised" food production way, way too much.

it really depends on the store....we still have the buffet at one location with in 30 miles of me....the food there is still really good....the one down the street that has been around since before i was born the food is pure grease....

burger kings are also like this....i have 2 almost the same distance from me....the good one is run by old people in the their 60's....food is always hot, fast and right.....the other one built 20 years before the good one always serves something cold....got hot fires then its a cold burger.....got a hot burger the onion rings are limp and 2 hours old

what is really shows is we have lots of franchises....some are good owners....are others are walking health violations......:devilskiss:

Fast food is terrible.

I wouldn't feed that garbage to a dog, let alone a human.

Most likely canola and soybean. Possibly a mix with corn and cottonseed. Whatever is cheapest to get to their local preprocessor and distributor in a given region.

Catch your birds fresh and stop eating buckets of fat, humans.
