They made a show about that. It is called Jackie-chan Adventures. Well, I am not Jackie-Chan (obviously), but you know what I mean. Granted, the talismans aren't spherical but that's such a mostly superficial difference for the mostpart. The one important thing is that I suppose they might roll away from the user more easily if dropped on the ground though.

Dragon balls don't grant you super powers, actually. They summon a dragon who grants you wishes. You can wish for a power but that means you have to exchange your one wish for ti.

Speaking of which, "I wish for the ability to make any object to appear before me" is objectively the best power to wish for in Dragon Ball. >_>
