At what point would you turn your friend in?
Would you turn in your friend if there were to commit a crime? What would be the red line for you?

Never.
I won't protect the guy but also not gonna rat him out.
Murder, or either directly or indirectly causing significant harm to someone intentionally or through negligence or by accident. And theft, BUT if they stole a $1000 or a TV from a stranger, I wouldn't turn them in, although I wouldn't trust them around my own money or property - but if caught them stealing from me personally, then I would.

That's the question you are supposed to answer.

Up to and especially including things involving children
no.
you don't rat on friends or family.
unless they committed the crime against yourself, or your family. but then you deal with that yourself, like a man.
you don't have to like them afterwards, or what they did. but disloyalty is a bad trait.

Apparently wanting to rid the world of evil is 'being a snitch' to a lot of people in this thread...sickening

These kinds of vague questions are pointless and unanswerable.

If a friend murdered or raped someone I'll go straight to the police.

If it was a drug problem I'd give them a chance to admit themselves into rehab, But if i think it's going to kill them i wouldn't have a choice and i'd have to go to the police.

turn them in as soon as you detect the faulty in their language, they are usually obvious, you dont want to be the last person they have talked to before theycommitting a serious crime. police may not charge you for anything, but people know.
