Willow was a normal movie so... do you think having short people in the movie made it politically incorrect?

Considering that they wouldn't hire "shorties" for Snow White, I'd say prollaby not.

peter dinklage want to make sure they pull up the ladder so no other little person can be as famous as him. If Hollywood can't make snow white without going CGI, I doubt they would have a village full of them.

Yeh snow white would be perfect for shorties as real actors and inclusive

Wizard of Oz is due for a remake. Its full of munchkins. Dorothy can become Danny, and we can use AI for the flying monkeys.

We need more movies with shorties.

Time Bandits was also great.

Everyone thinks those abominations in Snow White were about political correctness. They simply weren't anything of the sort, but an attempt to recapture the magic. The classic was a smash hit, because of detailed animation. It was the Jurassic Park or Who Framed Roger Rabbit of its day. Take that away and Snow White isn't really a story at all. It reads like the synopsis for a porno.

The moral of the story is suits green lit something that couldn't fly today. To make a movie you do need a story that can actually go the distance. Charlie Chaplin or the Three Stooges wouldn't fly either for that matter. There isn't enough meat on these bones to satisfy modern audiences. The inclusion of those CGI dwarfs couldn't save that movie. Snow White sucks as a story.
