Dinosaurs, Asteroid impacts, World Wars, Ice Ages, Viking Pillages, Titanic Sinking, Physical Media. The list goes on and on..

It's the only timeline that was ever going to happen anyway, to be fair.

Not the best version of the game judging by the reviews mind you. Really lazy post-processing effects were applied to the sprites that makes everything look a bit uglier than it would if they'd just left the sharp pixels alone, but at least it's available.

('course, Dalton probably has played Chrono Trigger or at least that's the first thing I think of when I see that name)

Disagree assuming there are other timelines. We can't possibly be living in the worst one. Those ones where Ebola became airborne, or where there was a global nuclear exchange, or the ones where they're still using leaded gasoline. All would be certifiably worse to live in then this one. Mathematically speaking you're more likely to be anywhere between the ends. Then on one of the ends themselves.
