China is incapable of invading the US and the US is incapable of invading China. So they'd just fight over some islands somewhere.

South China sea will become part of the USA most protected areas.

Needless to say militarily USA would stomp China.

The first thing to go would be China's massive Three Gorges Dam which when breached would instantly destroy the nations economy and it's ability to supply it's Airforce and Navy. China would then be reduced to only being able to wage limited warfare. After that the negotiations for a cease-fire would begin.

i am not so confident with china industry and access to russian natural resource

china can swarm drone and missile against us base in the region, cover their coast with anti air missile and their own fighter, they also have long range artillerie, many sub marine to defend their coast, yes usa have more f35, but only limited can be used because limited carrier us have, if us deploy f35 too close to china, risk is they be bomber by chinese ballistic missile

Doing so would be bad is 2 ways; There are numerous nuke plants in the destruction path for the water. The sea of Japan would be radioactive for a long time. And two; they would likely nuke us for doing that.

It would basically be heavy loses on both sides with virtually nothing gained. We would eventually bring them to the peace table with our blockade of the straights of Malacca tho. We would cut off their food supply.

Ya, but doing so would be mutually assured destruction. There are 100's of millions of people downstream. The chance of America doing that are slim. Now Taiwan OTOH could be very different.
