Ubisoft wants you to destroy your physical copies of delisted games
Apparently, Ubisoft's updated End User License Agreement requires players "must immediately uninstall the product and destroy all copies of the product" of a delisted that they bought. Huh?

Are they gonna send the mafia to enforce this new rule? Who do they think is coveting their copy of Assassin's Creed Shadows that they're willing to buy a physical copy?

Lmao. Sure, Ubi$oft, will do.
So are they going to reimburse GameStop for all unsold new and used copies of their delisted games?

I doubt it. ♥♥♥♥ Ubisoft.
I've supported the stance of games being licensed, not sold. But I don't support any company that will demand users uninstall the games they have paid a license to access and play, just because said games are no longer being sold/supported.

Ubisoft just keeps digging their own grave
Lots of companies want lots of things.

What Ubisoft will do? Come into my house and point a gun in my face?

If they don't want me to have the game, so give my money back, it's simple

With how brazen the games industry corpos are getting, I wouldn't put it past Nintendo trying it before long.

They'll probably retroactively patent Switch cartridges and then require you to agree to updated terms of service that forfeit your right to self-defense while they're at it.

Nintendo has apparently done this in the past, regarding a pirate who was illegally distributing games.

Perhaps I oughta reinstall my copy of The Crew and start waving it around like a broken toy that I refuse to part with.
