But he crossed the border illegaly and his origin is known. He is from Krypton.

Just go on Youtube and search for "Superman woke".
The relevant statute is U.S. Code title 8 chapter 12, subchapter 3 part Ⅰ §1401 (f) which stipulates that a person is a citizen when:
So how does that apply to this case? Well, these are the facts of the case according to Neil deGrasse Tyson, who was consulted for how a superman story about how him witnessing the destruction of his planet could work.[/url]
Superman is flown off of krypton as an infant. His journey from Krypton is short: He arrives on earth more or less instantly via wormhole, so he is under five years of age. At this time, his kryptonian origins are unknown, most importantly including his parentage.
He matures until he reaches a state until "he is eternally in his late twenties". Most generously speaking, that means he is at least 26, but that is arguably mid-20s so he more likely in the 27 to 29 range. The important thing here is that he is not described as being in his early 20s or younger, which would possibly make him younger than 21.
So he wants to go to the Hayden laboratory for some reason, likely because he has just learned of his kryptonian origin and wants to observe his home world. This is admittedly a small leap of logic on my part, as I do not personally own The New 52 Superman Action Comics No 14: The Multitude is Here[www.dc.com] to make that determination, but it seems like the most likely scenario.
As long as his Kryptonian Heritage was unknown by the time he turned 21, which is the likely scenario given these facts, the statute of limitations to determine that he was not a U.S. born citizen expired as he cracked open his first beer, and he gets to retain his citizenship status.
Some of this may depend upon which iteration of Superman we are following. It is probable that Smallville Superman is an illegal alien since the developments of that series occur while he is in high-school. However, if not otherwise shown this is the most likely version of events that applies to most of the Supermen, particularly since this law was passed in the 1940s
And look, just because your baby falls from a rocket in the sky doesn't mean he's an extraterrestrial, especially not in the D.C.U. where wacky sci-fi schenanagens involving mad scientists take place, especially when the child looks so human (as opposed to say the Martian Manhunter who is clearly not of this world).
If you think otherwise, it is alternatively possible that the Kents thought so too and filed form IR-4 as part of the adoption papers[www.uscis.gov]. This wouldn't make Superman a citizen, but it would make him a Green Card holder and give him a path to obtaining citizenship.
so your advocating for illegal aliens as long as they do good deeds?!?!?
I am not the one who decided to confer honorary citizenship onto Superman. I am just reporting it as a matter of fact. As far as my advocacy goes,I am only advocating for lawful citizens to be recognized and treated as lawful citizens when they are actually lawful citizens, no matter which lawful path to citizenship they take. I am also pushing the notion that maybe the U.S.A's. citizenship laws are not so entirely callous and unreasonable as to turn away a person in Superman's shoes.
To be honest, I forgot that the honorary citizenship doesn't confer legal rights or I wouldn't have mentioned it. It's easy to forget that sort of thing since titles of nobility are unconstitutional, and you'd wonder what the point of it would be when he could just be recognized with an award.
Regardless, U.S. Code title 8 chapter 12, subchapter 3 part Ⅰ §1401 (f) is still applicable as far as I can tell, so Superman is regardless a naturalized citizen.
That sounds like a good deal to me.
