Stop taking this rubbish seriously like it's meaningful :-/
Have you no idea this is just rubbish so you need to propagate this tripe?
And as Valve is a US company we'll politely bite our thumbs at Britain.
In Britain we just laugh at the BS from the USA and then stick it in the gutter press for laughs.
I think OP is just looking for perspective and knowledge based on some concerns
Like meaning in a bag of speculation and guesswork?
Either way, try to enforce too strict a rule, and a company like Valve could conceivably stop seeing that country as profitable. Though, I do think Valve genuinely cares about it's customers, and won't go that far. But that's just my opinion.
Yeah... I don't think speculation and guesswork is a bad thing lol
This place stinks more than ever :-/
Valve doesn't want to lose access to the U.K. marketplace with a great internet firewall of britain.
Of course, the G.D.P.R. might actually prevent this from being enforceable against private chats. I believe Britain was still an E.U. member state at the time that went into effect, so those laws might still be on the books there.
I think the UK composes of about 2.6% of total Steam users. Even if a ton of UK users leave and go elsewhere, they would barely feel it.
IDK about that one.
