Living life with some kind of unbearable circumstance is a much more scary prospect imo. Like losing your eye sight or going deaf. Losing a hand or something, maybe getting some kind of disease, that kind of terrible stuff should make you feel a little bit better about dying.

Pointless, there is NO reason to fear death because it's unknown, you'd never be aware of it.
