Depends, a ten year old can be very street smart given the circumstances of their up bringing. Plus I have come across many adults that haven't even passed their grown up exams but are adults never the less.

What brothers me tho, a 16 year old can go fight for his country but can't legally drink a beer until their reach 18 or in the case of america 21. Clearly some kid who has passed basic military training is going to be very mature and capable of making good informed choices about their own life.

legal age for having sex is 16yo (which i think is ok)
legal drinking age was 16yo (I think it should return to that) is now 18yo
legal marriage age was 16yo (I think it should return to that) is now 18yo
legal age to drive is 18yo
legal age to join the army is 18yo

it's only usa where you can complete a tour of duty having killed many people.. can drive and own a gun.. but be to young to drink marry or have sex..

The military is full of alcoholics in the 3rd world eu country I was born in, the us might be onto something when they outlawed alcohol for under 21 year olds.

B one person is 12-15 and the other is 20 or younger
C the person is 16 (than it's legal with all ages)

personally I would advise stay virgin to marriage.
