Are there any films where you thought had the worst ending?
Have you ever saw a film and thought to yourself "Wow, that ending sucked" as the credits rolled? That's what I mean. This could be good films or bad films.

For me; "Unbreakable" has the worst ending I've seen so far. We've just got done with a twist where it's revealed that Elijah Price (played by Samuel L. Jackson) is the antagonist of the film, which I didn't see coming, but the film freezes and has text explaining what happened afterwards and then the credits roll!
See what I mean?

Anything involving pointless sabotage. Example: Cube. The allegory is tiresome.
In Lost in Space they should have just dumped Smith somewhere at the first opportunity.

Yeah, Shrek should end on the scene by the windmill where they all go their separate ways.

Suicide Squad

90 minutes of crap building up to "hey this one army guy is gonna save the day by planting an explosive"

Grave of the Fireflies, just because the end is really sad.

I wanted a happy ending.

Hereditary
Titanic
Princess Kaguya
Clockwork Orange (overrated overall)
Pet Sematary (just sad overall and the ending too)
The Mist (wow, gotta be one of the worst ever)
Alien: Covenant (pretty bad)

Not counting some movies where a bad ending just fits.

The original one or the newer one
X-Men 3. The heroes lost.

This is going to be a very controversial opinion, but the ending to Breaking Bad sucks
Don Bluth's Rock a Doodle, even as a kid I hated the ending. Why?

Because it was all just a dream. Nothing happened. It would explain the nonsense of a story because dreams make no sense, but come on, this is the lamest way you could've possibly ended the movie.

I've seen some conspiracy movie where at the end they disappear the protagonist and everyone that's been in contact about it.
That's definitely a good ending for that type of stuff. It's pretty rare to see a fitting ending like that.

The one from 2016 or whatever, with William Smithers
