It is a farce for most, because it focuses on and exploits what people tend to be, narcissistic therefore selfish with a sense of entitlement. It's about feeding their ego so they will be bound to and OBLIGATED to be responsible for ALL of their actions via contract.

As for religion, everyone has (A) religion, those who fail to realize this don't understand what religion is. There isn't just ONE religion just like there isn't just one... ROUTINE. ALL have religion but not all have a good grasp of vocabulary nor language.
