Who's even for the "Big Beautiful Bill"
I never see anyone liking it. Except the rich people in congress.

If what these guys are saying is true

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gGWiO9aHCig

80 hours a week work required now to get food stamps, in a tough job market with rising prices on everything.

80 hours for medicare/medicad, and 35 dollar co pays

Raise the debt by trillion

Won't stop many of the things republicans ran on. Like defunding surgeries on kids,

Its going to destroy green energy in a lot of ways, also why musk is angry.

First we have to pass it, to find out what's in it.

Oh wait, wrong bill.😁

Wait, 80 hours per week? :goalastonished: That's twice as much as here. Or it's 37,5 hours per week for a full time job (plus 30 minutes unpaid lunch break, so 40 hours at work).

So that's 8 hours per day, then 8 hours free time and 8 hours sleep per day. With 80 hours per week, that's 16 hour work days, then only time for sleep? Or I probably misunderstand something here.

Generally rich people. Or their gatekeepers whom the Senate is. As for the voters, they can eat cake.

But we may see a reckoning of that disregard, very soon.

GOP out here acting like they don't expect to ever hold elections again.

This bill is a big red flag.

Did you not read Project 2025?

It's all the news channels were talking about last year.

Doesn't matter if its really a uniparty. Of if the parties take turns trying to out do each other on being terrible.

I haven't read the 900+ page bill but I am of the opinion that "most" of it is good and there are a few things in there even Trump doesn't like, yet everyone in Congress and the Senate seem to like it, despite minor squabbles over details. If it passes in this format, great but on principle if a law takes more than 3 pages it should have its various parts split into perhaps 2(or 3) distinct bills to be voted on. That way you have specific votes cast on different subjects and you know who voted. If these things can be separately passed then at least some good will be done.

And Schumer calling for the reading aloud of all 900+ pages should have been the one forced to read it. He just wanted to cause more suffering.

Well, congress needs to pass it, so that's all it needs.
