Youtube Actually Sucks Now

Debatably, some might say it has sucked for a while now. I think that's subjective, and for me personally, it actually sucks now.

We all know what I am going to touch on, so I will say this first- The comment section absolutely sucks. So many comments either auto-delete, or purposely fail to load. Certain words are censored, and I'm not even talking about curse words. Just ANY word that could imply something kind of negative can result in your comment just being removed. For example, I made a comment about a criminal recently, and because my comment had the word "Murder" in it, the comment just vanished. This has happened NUMEROUS times over the past... year? It's been longer, but it has REALLY amped up this year.

Now on to the topic we all know about... The website is terrible without some way t o bypass all the interruptions Youtube puts you through. I've had music videos interrupted so Youtube can tell me about 'Dr Bigglefunk The Nobody's' brand of shampoo or whatever. Sometimes it's every two minutes in a twenty minute video... And yeah, I know about the classic argument "Ever watch cable TV"- Dude I grew up on that, it was bad, but not this bad. And unlike this trash, it was curated, legitimate products (most of the time). Youtube is A-OK showing you absolute scams while doing no work of their own other than ruining the experience for the user.

For the first time, I find myself actually closing videos, and just avoiding Youtube often times... I do this with Twitch. Have done for years.

Anyway, I've posted this here because I expect all of you to fix it for me. So get to it.

Doesn't work on my phone... Well last I checked. I use it on my browser. But if I am out and about, Youtube is miserable.

YouTube actually sucks now

Debatably, some might say it has sucked for a while now. I think that's suckjective and, for me personally, it actually sucks now.

We all know what I am going to suck on, so I will suck this first - The suck section succulently sucks. So many comments either auto-suck or purposely fail to suck. Certain words are succulent, and I'm not even talking about the suck words. Just ANY suck that could imply something kind of succulent can result in your comment just being sucked. For example, I made a comment about a criminal sucking, and because my comment had the word "Suck" in it, the comment just sucked. This has sucked numerous times over the past... suck? It's been sucking, but it has really sucked up this year.

Nah, that's something they can't magically fix. There's Grayjay, but that has its own thing and isn't very popular yet, and still can't stop YouTube from blocking things on their own servers

Sadly no, that's server sided. But at least with that or New Pipe or GrayJay you can skip all the very crappy ad fest that's youtube nowadays.

You're both right. It's just any time you get caught without having those, and try to push through Youtube's nonsense... I don't see how anyone actually has the patience for it these days. And the fact they still make money out of it is mind boggling to me.
