Telling someone they look like they lost weight is rude!!!
This older woman from work who I barely know and who I generally just say hi to once every few days told me quite enthusiastically that I look like I've lost weight, and then she went on saying "wow you really slimmed down, you look a lot slimmer in the face are you trying to lose weight?" Excuse me?! Girl... am I fat to you?! I'm actually so shocked by this I haven't lost weight, and I haven't been trying to because I'm not fat. I can't stop thinking about this now, like why would you say this to someone you barely know? I feel like you would only say this to someone if you think they looked fat before, and they look SO FAT that they MUST know they're fat, and be super happy if they lose weight. Now I'm super paranoid that I look fat in my work uniform or something, and that everyone just silently thinks I'm fat this whole time! She's ruined my life!

Well, its not a bad thing to lost weight as long as its not unhealthy.

Fat or not, as long as its not unhealthy, then its really not that big of a deal to me.

You look like you gained weight.
Ruder would be asking someone if they had the baby already.

What's so offensive about that? I don't get it. 😂

If you're not fat why do you care? Do you not want to believe you're fat? Are you actually not fat? Does this bother you because you have a chip on your shoulder?

This person is just being insecure about themself. Or this person is a troll. Just dont really bother.
it is? i do not think so, especially if they have actively been trying to lose weight. this works both ways by the way, i am very skinny and am told i look anorexic and should "put on some weight". i am a healthy weight for my short height.
