What was this forum like pre Trump? I saw snippits of it and it seemed a lot more fair and balanced

It seemed this forum was a lot more interesting pre Trump and not so all right wing. It seemed people had a lot more diverse views and topics. Now it seems nothing but 'Rush Limbaugh' pretend trolls that I doubt actually know anything about him: come on here spouting off insults and nonsense that don't hold up in court and would be laughed out of any respected courtroom making a fool out of themselves and a waste of tax payers money.

The problem with no politics rule was a lot of innocent questions got blocked based on random key words.

I can tell you about this forum before politics and religious threads were allowed. It was more down to earth, boring, and less active. But sometimes it’s the simple things that matter the most.

Nah, there were loads more entertaining topics that got discussed about. The humor level was higher then as well. The occassional alt spammer, of course, but they did effort.

I miss that people did actual effort for their baiting and trolling. Nowadays it seems to be mass production qualitywise, lol.
