I play mostly PvP because of this reason. I have countless great single player games, but...

I'm competitive, simple as that.

Maybe it's a power trip, but there's a thrill knowing that their best isn't enough to match mine.

I’m actually the opposite. Don’t get me wrong. Multiplayer games are fun but if I wanna chill I play single player games. I’m slowly getting back into a game called Valheim (is a mix of Minecraft and Dark Souls) where you can build a base, defend against monsters, eat food, and chillax.

If you want you can invite people to your server and you can build together.

I'm a game doctor, and I would say that it could be many things here.

Perhaps a psychological even occurring where one might feel they should think the game is boring because of peer pressure or common sentiment.

Not that? Maybe it's loneliness and need to spend time in multiplayer game to pique interests.

Perhaps recent or long term game experience does is not sliding into the present grooves.

Perhaps the game is too interesting and overwhelming causing fatigue or zoning out.

Why do you play singleplayer videogames might be a good question to ask yourself.

To me, I'm there for the story, possibly character development; If none of those are present, then the gameplay has to be top-notch, otherwise I don't think I would be interested.


Naturally, having the option to spoil myself a bit and have it all-in-one are my almost favorite videogames.
I do gotta be emotionally invested or capable of taking in the videogame, too.
