If the center is still cold, that's why God invented microwave ovens.
(And, yes, I've had to microwave frozen patties after they were fried. Mostly because I had the stove too hot and I was too impatient.)
I just want my food man
oh, except peas.
i just add a few minutes more to cooking time and start from a cold oven...
That is true. For example I rarely bother to thaw frozen pizzas.
But some things are very noticeably better when thawing it first, for example pork chops, or steaks. These things I usually buy fresh, though, but if I buy many (on sale, for example) I put some in the freezer.
Being a bit impatient and frying these directly from frozen condition makes them very dry and 'rubbery', compared to when defrosting them first.
But I mainly meant thawing things that are 'supposed' to be prepared directly from the freezer, though, according to the instructions. Most of this tastes better when defrosted first, is my experience. Slowly overnight in the fridge, then at room temperature for an hour or two.
raw meat or raw fish hot water or the sun before to cook it in oven, work well in summer in one hour one kg frozen meat melt fast
