Anyone else who just hates the summer now ?

I just hate it and living in Germany, where everyone is super paranoid about AC, makes summer just a nightmare here.

I will never understand, what some people enjoy about constant sweating, thick air and just not allowing your body to rest due to the constant heat.

I think everything up to 25 degree is perfectly fine, alright. But everything beyond this is just getting bad.

We had 36 degree the last days and this just isn't fun no more.

I honestly would love to live in the north of Scandinavia somewhere, just to avoid ever having such extremely hot summers ever again. Especially if AC isn't a thing in your flat.

What do you think about summer?

I like the summer! My favorite is probably fall since Halloween is my favorite holiday, but I'll always prefer heat over the cold.

Nothing a bowl of ice cream can't fix anyways!

summer used to be my favorite season, but for the past 5 or 6 years, I'm switching to winter.

my ac is on the lowest temp on full blast and all I do is order everything to be delivered to my door and visit people at night time, when it's not so hot outside.

But what about hot chocolate and wrapping yourself up in a fluffy blanket?

But what about hot chocolate and wrapping yourself up in a fluffy blanket?

That's cool too, but since I've been in the south my whole life I'm MUCH more used to dealing with being hot and sweaty than I am cold and shivering.

Not a fan of wrapping myself up and staying in one place anyways. Not when I could be doing something else

In the meantime I sit here, in a rooftop flat, without proper covers on my windows, without AC, in like 35 degree inside, mostly with just boxershorts, trying to survive.

The problem is, here in Germany, your body can't get used to the heat, because you have for example 36 degrees, then next day, it just randomly drops to 21 degrees. The weather changes mad here and you can never just get used to it.

Have you ever went inside a hot car before? Or that one time you accidentally touched a hot seat belt? It sucks.

I don’t mind summer, as it gives me a good excuse to enjoy shaved ice and cold desserts,
Least fav season would have to be winter as I’d travel out somewhere just to escape the cold.

when i ws kid summer was best time for me

maybe you're getting older. Young people don't care if it's 40°C, 25 or -5 , they just live, do whatever they want to do and the weather doesn't matter.

If you’re a blue collared worker you’ll despise the summer. At least winter time you can wear more clothes and you’ll get warm by working.

Nah. I also disliked it years ago and I am in my early 30s, still young. Its not like my body can't handle it or something. lol.

Ofc it does not help, that I can't escape the heat.

Where Iam from, 36 degrees during summers is considered as pleasant weather.

I am a white collar worker, but have you worked in an office without AC before?
