US. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) was created in 2003 as part of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). It was established by the Homeland Security Act of 2002, which was passed in response to the September 11th attacks. The act merged the U.S. Customs Service and the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) to form ICE.

September 11 happened under a republican (bush) who knew about the attacks but did nothing to stop them.

In what country do people cheer for a bill that slashes social programs while recording record deficits? How is that even possible? For as long as I can remember, the deficit kept increasing because no president wanted to be the one known for cutting social infrastructure. Now doing both is viewed as an achievement. Bizarro.

Also, its not hate to want people to enter here via the legal process, The same processes anyone here would have to go through to join other countries.

To join mexico I'd have to pass a citizen ship test, be able to speak Spanish, have lived in mexico a while, and so on.

It's been rushed on purpose so most people don't read it and know what's in it...

Marjorie Taylor Greene was all about it and promoting it like crazy, till she finally read it and then was like hell no!
