I probably wouldn't be spending much time reading.

I'm already a Satanist, and without laws I'd do whatever I wish.

Are there other people on the island and is it only for 3 years? Does that mean afterwards I can go home? If it's just me I would focus on survival for the full 3 years, then leave. If there are others I'd do the same but try to share the workload. :D

just because I read a book doesn't mean I'll instantly believe it's content.

I might use some pages as fire starters but the bulk I'll keep to occupy any (if any) spare time but 99.9999 of my time will be simply surviving.
