Rey isn’t canon to me.

That is just how R.P.Gs. on the S.N.E.S. worked man. You take a step forward and wave your weapon at the enemy like you are trying to bonk them on the head, then walk back. Well fine, mostly just Final Fantasy games since those were the possibly only ones with the proper third-party side-view battle perspective for it rather than the head on first person perspective used by most others like Dragon Quest, but still, you get the point.

Also pretty much any top-down view iteration of Link.

Lol such a crappy lazy way to kill Maul. That being said I'll bet a million space bucks that in those 3 films Ewan trained with a saber around 1000 hours. The girl Ray out of 3 films she trained 20 hours max.
